Montpellier, Ten Years After

It’s been ten years since I did a Study Abroad in Montpellier, France, at Université Paul Valéry. I’m gathering all my mementos and co-participants. This webcam existed before we visited, and has been there ever since:

Montpellier: Place de la Comédie

Here’s a list of where we visited during our travels in southern France.

1. Saint-Pons-de-Mauchiens (info, in French)

2. Mèze, Étang de Thau

3. Pézenas

4. Saint-Guilhem-le-Désert (info, in English)

5. Millau and its Viaduc

6. Conques

7. Rocamadour and its sanctuaire.

8. Gouffre de Padirac (EN and FR info)

9. Grotte du Peche-Merle(info in FR)

10. Toulouse

11. Albi (Site Officiel), Sainte-Cécile Cathedral (info in FR and EN), home of Touluse-Lautrec (and a musée)

12. Carcassonne, the walled city where Kevin Costner filmed Robin Hood: Prince of Theives (IMDB) (city info in EN and FR).

13. Béziers and the Canal-du-Midi (info in EN and FR)

14. Cap d’agde

16. Montpellier

17. Paris

While in Pairs, I spent time and visited a historic site for the last time with my friends Jacques and Nicole Goupy. We went to Médan, the Maison d’Émile Zola. We lost Jacques a few years ago, and I hate that I’d not get one more visit after this one.
